2. to cultivate values of independence, teamwork, creativity, and citizenship through liberal arts service learning programs that guide rural students towards the self-renewal of local societies


3. to create a community of volunteers highly conscious of problems faced by rural students, dedicated to service learning, and collaborative in innovating new solutions
