Yiheng China Sun

Yiheng China Sun Inc. is a non-profit organization registered in Massachusetts, USA. The goal of the organization is to contribute to rural development in China through education programs. The main operation of Yiheng China Sun right now is Project Sun, an annual summer teaching project in Jingyang Middle School, Guizhou, while long-term teaching programs as well as cultural tour programs are under planning right now.

Project Sun started in the summer of 2007. In the past three years, it has recruited more than a dozen volunteers to participate in our project and have inspired hundreds of local teenagers to pursue further schooling. Its  sponsors include  Taikang Life Insurance Co. Ltd. and the David Workman Community Service Grant, the Communist Youth League Committee of Guizhou Province and its social support program “Spring Sun Action,” the local administrations of the Jingyang Township. Currently, Yiheng China Sun is in partnership with the  China Social Entrepreneur Foundation and PEER to bring a new program to Jingyang Middle School in the summer of 2010.
